Last week staff from TPP exhibited at the China International Industry Fair in Shanghai. Attendance at the show was part of a Department of International Trade (DIT) Northern Powerhouse mission to China – led by Baroness Rona Fairhead and Northern Powerhouse Minister Jake Berry.
The show included visits from both ministers to the UK Pavilion where TPP are exhibiting alongside other SMEs as well as global manufacturing firms like Dyson, Teva & Land Rover.
The UK was the ‘country of honour’ at this year’s Industry Fair and over 100 UK delegates were invited to a UK/China networking dinner during the show. Chinese Minister of Industry & Information Technology Miao Wei also opened the fair in an international opening ceremony.
UK Secretary & State for Communities, Sajid Javid, was also part of the delegation, representing businesses from the Midlands who are wanting to trade with China. TPP staff were showcasing the Chinese version of SystmOne on the UK pavilion, in hall one of the Shanghai Exhibition Centre, throughout the event.
