SystmOne Urgent Care is made of up 3 different modules: Primary Care Centre, Call Centre and Minor Injury Unit. These can be deployed either together or individually to fit a service’s specific needs. Unique SystmOne out-of-hours functionality paves the way for call centres to be used for a variety of different purposes, from single point of access for community services to telehealth monitoring.
• With patient consent, gain instant access to the patient’s SystmOne GP full medical record.
• Use a single key to search for patients on both SystmOne and Spine.
• Automatically check drug interactions and sensitivities when prescribing new medicine.
Patient Alerts
• Flag violent patients to other SystmOne services.
• Be alerted to patients who have been treated by any other SystmOne urgent care service in the last 72 hours.
Links to Other Healthcare Providers
• Automatically notify a patient’s GP via NHS mail, DTS or to SystmOne surgeries via SystmOne tasks.
• Any patient can ask for their OOH encounter not to be sent to their GP practice.
• Receive cases electronically from other urgent care centres, including NHS Direct, and create links with emergency services.
Reporting
• Use in-built clinical reports to monitor trends, for example how many people with diabetes access urgent care.
• Run reports according to condition, demographic or time of contact.
• Monitor departments using reports that show a variety of efficiency statistics.
Specific PCC and Call Centre Functionality

• View cases on a traffic light system to prioritise by urgency.
• Categorise cases by definitive assessment.
Shared Workloads
• Allow staff members across multiple sites to work on cases regardless of which call centre or primary care centre they are logged onto.
• Manage workloads across several units to ensure cases are dealt with quickly and effectively.
Mobile Working
• Access SystmOne wherever you are and see your records updated in real time using laptops and tablets via an N3 or VPN connection.
• Use SystmOne on PDAs via a store and forward solution where notes can be entered offline and updated when back at the primary care base.
Specific Minor Injury Unit Functionality

• Show 4 hour waiting time breaches.
• Filter the overview by location, staff member and triage category.
