SystmOne Rehab

Counselling, supporting and prescribing for drug users is a challenge in itself. But the fact that this work is often delivered in difficult inner-city environments, with often inadequate premises and with inadequate IT resources, doesn't help.

SystmOne Rehab's rich functionality helps you by diminishing the impact of these factors. It has been developed with the specific needs of both drug-users and clinicians in mind, supported and delivered in a way which is tailored to their needs.

SystmOne Rehab is unusual amongst the SystmOne suite of products: not only does it function as a stand-alone product, but it can also be seen as a module in any of the other clinical products. This is especially useful for GP practices which frequently prescribe controlled drugs, or for homeless centres (see SystmOne GP, SystmOne Homeless).

SystmOne Rehab has a state-of-the-art, comprehensive prescribing module. It is flexible enough to deal with numerous prescribing styles, from prisons to secondary care, and from community nurses to GP practices. SystmOne Rehab incorporates all of the standard SystmOne prescribing tools and fully supports the prescribing and instalment dispensing of controlled drugs.

The easily-configurable templates in SystmOne Rehab's extensive template library allow clinicians to collect an almost limitless breadth of information about patient lifestyle and history. When combined with SystmOne GP, the full patient record is seamlessly integrated into SystmOne Rehab. This allows for more informed clinical decisions and planning, to facilitate a higher standard of patient care.

SystmOne Rehab can be installed on any standard PC or network and requires no configuration. This is especially useful in some inner city environments, where PCs are stolen or poorly maintained. Since the data is held centrally, no patient data is ever compromised in the event of a theft or system crash. Wireless/dial-in remote access means you can consult with patients wherever they are, regardless of the equipment available.

SystmOne creates National Drug Treatment Monitoring System (NDTMS) reports using the latest Core Data Set is presented in a simple .csv extract which can be uploaded to the relevant website, and used to monitor the services being delivered by your drug dependency unit.

Faced with complex issues, sometimes difficult patients and a challenging environment, clinicians need all the support they can get. SystmOne Rehab offers this support, because it incorporates simple, rapid mechanisms for completing the most sophisticated tasks. Clinicians are able to record, be warned of and to share any pertinent information with other practitioners.

Social and mental health issues can be a problem when dealing with people undergoing drug rehabilitation; SystmOne Rehab's holistic approach takes into account all of a patient's needs. SystmOne Rehab offers a step forward in caring for drug users.
