Professor Mike Pringle, the Clinical Lead for GPs for NHS CfH will be a
guest speaker at this year's SystmOne National User Meeting. Professor Pringle
will be discussing 'Progress with CfH Primary Care Systems'.
The meeting, which takes place on May 23rd at the Royal Armouries in Leeds,
is an opportunity for 300 SystmOne users from all healthcare settings to
meet representatives from TPP, CSC and CfH, to discuss topics relevant to
them and to find out what's in the pipeline for SystmOne over the coming
months.
Also among the guest speakers are Graham Spearing, Head of Deployment Support,
Primary Care, North East Cluster, and Dr Richard Pope, Consultant Diabetologist
from Airedale Diabetes Centre - one of SystmOne's first ever users.
"We're thrilled to be holding such a large event this year and to have such
prestigious and well-respected speakers," says Cairen Ball, Customer Relationship
Manager. "Last year, we held three separate but smaller sessions at our offices
in Leeds. This year, due to the demand for places, we've moved the event
to the Royal Armouries and it is already fully booked!"
The event will be fairly informal and user-led. The morning session covers
presentations from, expert users, TPP Directors, and guest speakers. The
afternoon consists of breakout sessions, each with a structured agenda followed
by an informal 'Question and Answer' session. The four breakout areas cover
SystmOne GP, Child Health, Community and Prison. The day will end with a
general 'Question and Answer' session with a panel of the day's speakers.
There will also be an exhibition area with stands run by the following organisations:
AAH Pharmaceuticals, Anglia Healthcare Systems, Brother, Codegate Ltd, CSC, Dell,
Department of Health, First DataBank Europe, Inchware, Innovations in Technology,
Jayex Technologies, Phoenix Healthcare Distribution, Primis +, and TPP.
"We're very much looking forward to the event and to meeting our users, particularly
those who didn't attend last year," says Cairen. "We hope that the day will
prove both interesting and enjoyable for everyone attending."
