TPP has decided to sponsor a series of one day events to be held in Autumn 2012. Organised by Citadel Events, in conjunction with HIMSS Analytics, the ‘Health+ Insights’ events will invite delegates from Acute Trusts across the country to discuss ways to future-proof their hospitals through health informatics.

The events will be based on a ‘fit for the future’ theme, covering informatics standards and accreditation. Successful case studies – where trusts have used informatics to achieve integrated ways of working – will be demonstrated throughout the day. Senior directors from HIMSS Analytics will also be discussing the Electronic Medical Record Adoption Model (EMRAM), currently being implemented in hospitals across Europe. The model was adapted to track hospitals on their progress in completing the 8 stages to creating a paperless patient record environment. Stephen Lieber, HIMSS President and CEO, has recently confirmed as the key speaker for the launch event in London.

Commenting on behalf of Citadel Events, Managing Director Stephen Bryant said: “We are delighted to have the support of TPP and their partner organisations for our Autumn series of Health+Insights regional programmes. Our ongoing collaboration with TPP has developed as a result of their successful exhibiting experience at our annual event in Birmingham – Health In4matics: Healthcare and Informatics Expo. We have always viewed TPP as a forward thinking company whose strong management team are keen to explore new opportunities to bring their products to new audiences and markets.”

The six events will take place in the following areas, beginning on the 15th November: London, Manchester, Taunton, Birmingham, Leeds and Nottingham. TPP will be using the events to demonstrate new Acute software functionality – including their PAS and e-prescribing modules – allowing a full Electronic Patient Record (EPR/EMR) to be deployed across a hospital. Hospitals already using SystmOne will also be speaking about their experiences during the series of events.

First DataBank and Accenture have also recently confirmed as exhibitors at the events. For more information, and to book a place, please visit http://www.healthplusinsights.co.uk/
