TPP is delighted to announce that the 100th GP practice in the Nottinghamshire area has ‘gone live’ with SystmOne. The Sandy Lane surgery in Mansfield went live with the system on Monday 18th July. The practice has thirteen staff and offers its patients a variety of clinics along with minor surgery services.

The Nottinghamshire Health Informatics Service (NHIS) has been working with TPP to deploy SystmOne across the Nottingham area for the past 6 years. Along with the huge numbers of GP practices already using SystmOne, the NHIS and TPP have also deployed other SystmOne modules in Community services, Child Health departments, Out of Hours services and Prison healthcare across the region.

Director of NHIS, Eddie Olla, said “This achievement represents a significant milestone in the connectivity of Nottinghamshire GPs. The efforts of the implementation teams supporting our customer organisations with such an extensive and ambitious roll out plan have been extraordinary, and have reflected positively towards our excellent reputation as an ICT service provider.”

NHIS have worked closely with TPP on a number of national initiatives in order to pilot new features, including EPS release 2 and PDA functionality. TPP Customer Relationship Manager, Chris Marsh, said “We have a fantastic relationship with the NHIS and are extremely pleased they have made such great progress with the implementation of SystmOne. The use of SystmOne in so many GP practices and across so many different NHS services allows Nottinghamshire to really feel the benefits of connected healthcare.”
