Numed ECG readings filed directly into SystmOne patient record

TPP and Numed have successfully completed work on integrating the Numed Biolog 3000i ECG device into SystmOne. Users with the device can now file readings directly into the appropriate patient record, reducing scope for error from manual entry, and increasing efficiency. The ECG can then be viewed from the patient record. Users with the relevant device and software can now use this facility.
Established for over 20 years, Numed is a leading supplier of innovative medical products into Primary Care. Their unique product range includes diagnostic and patient monitoring devices such as ECG, 24hr Blood Pressure, Spirometry and Vital Signs Monitors, and emergency products such as Defibrillators.

Simon Healy, Joint Managing Director of Numed, says, "The Biolog 3000i Interpretive 12 lead ECG System offers a comprehensive solution for all SystmOne users. With practical features that meet the needs of Primary Care, Biolog is a popular handheld 12 lead ECG machine that brings the paperless practice one step closer."
Simon says that the popularity of Biolog is due to "its compact size, simple operation and easy to use Integrated CardioView software, which has now been fully automated and is controlled entirely from the patient record within SystmOne."
The integration with SystmOne is straightforward. Once the ECG has been taken, all users need to do is click a 'Send Now' button to save the image and Read code to the patient record.
TPP is working to provide integration with a range of other medical devices enabling more users to record results directly into the patient record.
