User Workshop Enhancements for SystmOne Community

On March 12th, TPP held a workshop to discuss development of the SystmOne Community module.

The workshop was attended by current users of SystmOne Community, as well as those involved in deploying it at PCT level, and representatives from CSC and CFH.

The aim of the workshop was to prioritise developments for the system, giving users an opportunity to provide feedback directly to those developing it.

Katie Dowson, Clinical System Analyst, organised the event and says, "We're really pleased with how it went. There was a good mix of attendees, and a lot of productive discussion. We now have a clearer idea of how our users need the system to develop to support them. Most of the suggestions were relatively small things that will make the system slicker and easier to use."

For Community Healthcare staff, managing patient caseloads, booking visits, and gathering and analysing statistics about the activities performed are all vital tasks. Developments suggested at the workshop will make these even easier for users of SystmOne Community, giving them greater control over the details recorded and offering more reporting options.

Some of the developments suggested by users have already been implemented, and more are coming up in the next software release.

"It's really nice to see suggestions from the workshop being included in the system so quickly," says Katie. "And we know that there are people waiting to use them, and that they really are going to make a difference to their working lives."
