SystmOne - choice for GPs under new GPSoC scheme

NHS CFH has announced that it intends to formally award contracts to eight GP clinical suppliers under the GP Systems of Choice (GPSoC) scheme. One of these suppliers is CSC Computer Sciences Ltd, whose product deployed under this scheme will be SystmOne.

Involvement in the GPSoC scheme will mean that CSC and TPP can offer SystmOne to practices throughout England.

As SystmOne is a centralised system, all practices will benefit from the growth of SystmOne. With more deployments of SystmOne, more patient records will be stored on the centralised SystmOne database, meaning that sharing of data across care settings will move towards seamlessness, and patients moving from one geographical location to another can have their records transferred instantly.

TPP Project Manager, Jo Leslie, says, "Everyone at TPP is very excited about the progress of GPSoC and is looking forward to the announcement that we can begin to offer SystmOne under the CFH banner to practices across the country."
