  • SystmOne offers us the potential to join up patient care across primary, secondary and social care, creating ‘one patient, one record’. This means that clinicians in any care setting will have access to appropriate information about a patient. With SystmOne, we will get closer to our vision of a shared electronic patient record across all our services.

Tim Rycroft Head of IT and Information Governance at Airedale NHS Foundation
  • Locally, we have made real progress with the integration of health and social care. The introduction of the new Integrated Care Record will mean that we are building on this; ensuring that where we have the consent of the service user, we use information that is held within their care record to assist with delivering the most appropriate and effective care.

  • We looked at all relevant systems in the market, visiting several user sites, and were happy that SystmOne would be the most useful for us. It has a range of features which will assist our development of patient care. We are very pleased with the result and our staff were using the new system with confidence within a matter of days of going live.

Research at TPP

TPP is at the forefront of cutting edge research. We support healthcare research by providing access to anonymised data held on SystmOne. With more than 44 million patient records, SystmOne contains rich and vital information that is invaluable in supporting big data analysis. Data is used with consent and is anonymised prior to use.

Our research arm, ResearchOne, is a not-for-profit joint partnership between TPP and the University of Leeds, which uses de-identified patient data to improve healthcare. The ResearchOne database provides consensual access to data for use in large scale health and social care projects. Projects supported by ResearchOne include the Electronic Frailty Index (eFI), which won the ‘Innovation’ award at The Royal College of GP’s Excellence in Patient Care Awards 2017.

At TPP, we are passionate about research and supporting the development of projects that facilitate improved patient care and support healthcare professionals to deliver this care.

International Referrals

International Work

After 20 years of success in the UK, we are now looking to expand our offering to deliver connected care to new markets abroad, specifically China and the Middle East.

We have developed a public health system for China, and we are currently working with governments in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait to deliver products which support and enhance their healthcare services.

Having developed extensive experience from working with the NHS, TPP is helping tackle global healthcare problems such as the rise in non-communicable diseases and ageing populations.

We believe we are the only software company in the world to offer truly integrated electronic health records. By configuring and deploying our products in new markets, we can support the delivery of timely, informed and efficient healthcare on an international scale.

Local Community

TPP is a company that is proud of its local roots. Situated in the heart of West Yorkshire, in the small town of Horsforth, TPP is fully aware of the positive impact a successful business can make within a community. As a result, we regularly make contributions to charitable and environmental causes and actively promote ethical and social responsibility.

In 2016, we moved into TPP House, a £22 million project that has brought hundreds of jobs to West Yorkshire, a key region of the Northern Powerhouse initiative. Although the building’s design embraces modern innovations, care has been taken to ensure the building fits in with existing architecture within the Horsforth community.

We ensure our company is kept as paper-light as possible and all waste paper is recycled on a regular basis. TPP works to ensure the well-being of all staff members through short working hours, comfortable office environment, physiotherapy massage and social activities. Organised blood donor sessions mean employees can donate blood inside working hours. Staff are also encouraged to take part in voluntary activities and sports events in the community. In addition, TPP has sponsored several charities and local initiatives.

At TPP, we also believe it is important to support other local businesses and that’s why, from stationery to sandwiches, and from couriers to cleaners, we have always sought out the best local companies to work with. We are proud that our company helps to bring new jobs and new business to the local community.

In 2016, TPP launched the ‘Frank Hester Scholarship’ with Elliott Hudson College, Horsforth High School and Tong School in Bradford. The scholarship programme is designed to support financially disadvantaged sixth form students who are applying for university or further education.

To enable our users to integrate all their daily tasks into one easy system, SystmOne integrates
with several partners, ensuring our clinical system offers the maximum
functionality regardless of healthcare setting.
