SystmOne has proved to be a success within our practice. We are happy that
we were able to make the move when we did.
We went live on 20th September 2006, and one year down the line, we are still
learning new things. Every member of our team agrees that each individual
workload is much more manageable now.
Before we made the change to SystmOne we explored every avenue to make sure
the system would be fit for purpose for the work we need to do within our
practice. We soon realised that this was the way forward for us, and I have
to say that the benefits to the practice have been most favourable.
I do admit that the process of migration onto SystmOne proved to be quite
a laborious task, but help was at hand from our Project Manager and TPP,
which therefore made our “Go Live” day run smoothly and efficiently.
GMS alerts have been the most helpful to us. Data is more accurate and is
easier to retrieve than on the old system we had. This in itself has saved
us a great deal of time and less strain on our resources.
The main change that has been apparent to us since using SystmOne is the
improvement in our GMS QOF figures across the board. We feel we are in a
better position to provide a more satisfying service to our patients.
SystmOne is so different to the legacy systems that it does take a while
to get used to but I would definitely recommend the system to other practices.
