As we move practices to TPP from either legacy systems or Greenfield sites,
it is apparent that there are always additional needs arising for practices,
e.g. related to the local agreements that they are signing (Direct Enhanced
Services) or for the current national move to Practice-based Commissioning.
In the last six months we have requested developments on behalf of the Greenfield
site on Practice-based Commissioning, cross-PCT prescribing and additional
services with out-of-area Pathology Labs.
The development of the first two items was dealt with extremely quickly and
eight weeks on we are about to start using this functionality.
We needed the out-of-area pathology services quickly and this was sorted
out within 24 hours, which was excellent, TPP pulled out all the stops for
us on this one.
For my legacy moves there have, of course, been additional requirements to
make sure no functionality has been lost, and again the response from TPP
in looking at requirements and coming up with answers has been extremely
good.
The training and support services from TPP have been very good, the support
line responds quickly and for any training requirements Sue Bonham, nee Asquith,
has been really helpful in accommodating our needs. When you are setting
up a new system you often need training at short notice and Sue has been
excellent at getting this sorted.
