All I want...

..is a dashboard system

All you want is SystmOne

If you're using SystmOne throughout your hospital, you can make use of a fantastic piece of functionality that brings all of the administrative processes you need to monitor into a single screen, the SystmOne Dashboard.

Having all the information you need displayed on a single screen which is updated automatically and in real time eliminates the time and effort traditionally spent searching multiple systems for information.

"We are going to find this
really useful - especially the
pager alerts. It takes the legwork
out of managing the hospital."

SystmOne is a complete clinical and administrative system for use across all departments of a hospital, creating a seamless patient journey from the moment the patient is referred to hospital or contacts A&E, to the moment their care is passed back to the GP. Personalised dashboards grant managers an overarching view of aspects of these patient journeys that they need to monitor, for example, to see at a glance how many patients have been waiting a certain time, or to monitor MRSA rates.

Each user can set up their own dashboards or can use those set up by other users. Each users' configuration of dashboards and dashboard items can be changed as often as necessary, so if your needs change, your dashboard can change with you.

A description of each item and the filters applied to it is shown on the Dashboard screen. A traffic light system on each  item shows the numbers that fall into each 'zone', the boundaries for which are user-configurable.

If desired, users can also set up alerts so that whenever the figure in a particular zone changes, a SystmOne Task or an SMS text message to a mobile/pager is sent to them. This means that the member of staff doesn't even need to be looking at the dashboard to be notified of the changes. And if it's a zone that will change frequently, the alert can be set to only send at specified intervals.

Dashboard items can be broad, such as 'Number of free beds' or can be filtered for more granularity, e.g. 'Number of free beds in Ward 1'. A few examples are below:

SystmOne has been written directly  for the NHS in Great Britain, in conjunction with clinicians and hospital staff. It's designed for you and only for you. And it's available now, so contact us to take a look at it and to start your deployment today.
